Poetry & Jazz Tasting
C'est Le Vin, 15 N. 17th St.
Thursday February 20, 7pm
As ever, you can find us every third Thursday kicking back with a dose of vino and verse at popular winebar C'est Le Vin. Over the course of the evening, you'll get a taste of poetry from local wordsmiths of all experience & publication levels. Live jazz is an integral part of the flavor, with guitarist Randy Burton and Bob Lambert, the meanest harmonica player I know, sharing some sets and providing musical improv to any poet who so desires. The whole is as always set off by C'est le Vin's tempting wine selection, plus tapas & a backdrop of inspiring art. A don't-miss! (Have a few verses to throw down yourself? Make sure to get on the list! Look for me early in the evening or email ahead of time: dottoressa.joanna at hotmail.com)
