We've had ten incredible Feature Sundays this year and this one is shaping up to be the best yet. The line up for this month is absolutely unbelievable!!!! We have Musician and recording artist Don Tesla. Poetry from Luisa Black, Lo-Jack, Carlos Bryant, Host of "The Word Art Show J. Scott Wilson and Special Out of Town Guest Poet Anna Weaver. If that wasn't enough we have the absolutely hilarious comedian Ahmad Clemens in the mix. 

Come out and enjoy the last show of the year. We're going out with a HUGE BANG!!!!

This Weekend: Authorfest 2016!

AUTHORFEST 2016

WHAT: A gathering of local writers who are members of Hampton Roads Writers and/or the Muse Writing center. Each author will have a table on which to display their books. Throughout the day, authors will be scheduled to read from their books. Come on out and meet some of your favorite local authors.

WHEN: Saturday & Sunday, November 12 - 13, 2016, 10 AM to 4 PM

Looking for an excuse to hang out in a cozy coffee & pastry spot? Join us at Sub Rosa on November 1st or 15th! Whatever your genre, this is a cool and informal venue to freewrite and feed off the creative energy around us and in each other-- we believe writing doesn't always have to be done at a lonely desk or secluded retreat. Although we're open to specialized topics and sharing, there is no formal critique or workshop agenda, and no RSVP required— simply show up ready to write!
